Adding difficult versions to races would be a cool concept, no? Maybe? I'm just getting excited about something I'll likely never see, so I reckon I'll stop dreaming now, shut up and wait for the next horse relese so I can S P E N D M O N E Y. I'm really tired of the game being extremely easy, like, baby easy. I don't want to compete against my friend on who collects the fastest flags, let me play against the monster WITH my friend! Maybe scale the difficulty, too? So it's more difficult to complete with 2 people! I would die happy if this game required actual team work outside of the collectable stars that need like 4 people standing still on specific spots. On another note, I wish the "play with friends" part would get more attention. Why not have a short story quest about time travel or whatever so you could play old quests again? Say, go to the beginning of the Nightdust storyline? It should be something that has a lot of variability. Recycling content isn't something that needs to be about grinding reputation, doing the one same thing 100000 times. I'm sure a lot of effort went into this fight that gets used once. It's sad that something this cool you get to experience just once. Yes, there's something similar, but consider which sounds way cooler:Ī) collect pink balls in an empty field to charge at an immobile machine that makes an annoying noise while running into rocks in your wayī) charge yourself with electrical energy through glowing lightning emblems, attempt to attack a large, fast, running monster before it attacks you, all the while riding in a strange, fantasy boss arena where you're restricted on where you can run away from the roaring monster! Anwir during the Saving Anne quest was super cool and I was REALLY surprised something like that wasn't implemented as a repeatable thing in ex. Recycling old content isn't a great option, but it is a bit disappointing I'll never get to experience the quests I did enjoy again without emptying my wallet. The quests aren't amazing, but at least being able to replay them would be SOMETHING. With SSO you can't - you'd need to create a whole new account and buy the game again, essentially, to experience the crappy, glitched quests all over again. With a lot of MMO's you can just start over with a new character and you can have a few character slots. If we're not getting quests, I think they should maybe shift their focus on replayability. My comment will contain minor spoilers about the storyline.

So credits to them! I just hope they would kind of… sort out their priorities y’know.

I also feel like sso keeps releasing new areas with lots of lore you’d like to explore, but then they just kind of forget about them?Īnyhow, I know that the sso team works hard and that it’s a tedious job to update a game as often as once a week. Once there was a 2(!) year pause in them. If we do, you complete them in like 10 minutes or it’s some kind of laborious reputation-building.įor me it’s especially the soul-riders quests that are the most exiting to play, and I remember there were plenty of updates for those back when I started. And I feel that we rarely get quests anymore. I think everyone can agree that the most appealing thing about sso are the quests. Few people can afford buying a new horse for 900 sc twice a month. Sso just keep pumping out new horses every two weeks, and I feel like no one really cares that much about them. I desperately want to like it and play it, but the recent updates does a pretty bad job at that. Sso has become frustratingly boring, and has been for a few years now. So, I’ve played sso since it was only 1 year old, so I’m pretty sure I’m entitled to opinions in this matter.
